Forehead Lines - Botox Treatment

A Botox treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure that smoothes the deep, persistent lines between your brows that develop over time. One 10-minute treatment -- a few tiny injections -- relaxes the muscles that cause those lines to form and keeps them relaxed up to 4 months.

The results are dramatic and apparent within days. In clinical trials, nearly 90% of the men and women surveyed rated the improvement in their brow lines as moderate to better. For many, BOTOX virtually "erases" these lines.

Unlike surgery, BOTOX is fast, simple, and minimally invasive, with no downtime or recovery. Most people return directly to work or normal activity following treatment. Within days, they report looking more natural and relaxed. With BOTOX, they’ll know you’ve done something, they just won’t know what.

This treatment is quite popular, and when used in combination with other rejuvenation treatments, is very successful.

How does it work?

The Botulimum toxin reversibly relaxes the muscles under the skin. Facial lines formed by the pull of underlying muscles will then diminish or disappear.

What are Botox Uses?

Facial line softening of the upper half of face: forehead furrowing, eye lines (crows feet) and frown lines between the eyes. Preventing excessive perspiration.

How is BOTOX administered?

Using a tiny needle, a very small amount of Botox is injected into locations on the face. Because the needle is so fine and only a small amount of liquid is used, the discomfort associated with the injections is minimal. Most patients compare the sensation to a bug bite. No sedation or local anaesthetic is needed, and you can resume normal activities immediately. You can even drive yourself home or back to the office.

Who is suitable for Botox?

Anyone who is not pregnant, breast feeding, taking antibiotics or suffering from severe neuromuscular disorders. Thousands of women and men have already discovered the benefits of BOTOX.

Are the injections painful?

Not really, most people only experience a mild temporary discomfort. There is a slight swelling immediately after which settles within a few hours and application of ice helps.

When will I notice a difference?

It starts to work in about 5 days. The greatest effect is seen after about 2-3weeks.

How long will it last?

3-6 months depending on each individuals response. Repeat treatments have been shown to last longer.

How long can I be treated with Botox?

Treatment with Botox can typically be repeated indefinitely.

Pre-and Post-Treatment

There are really no pre-treatment requirements. However, after your treatment, we request that you move the treated muscles frequently and not lie flat on your back for four hours.
